    • If you get stuck or are unsure of how to use our booking app please give us a call! 2505351199
    • Try to book the sessions over a 2-3 week time period.
    • Book the number of sessions in one week by how much energy you feel you have. IE) More energy = 5 session in one week. Less energy = 3 lessons in one week.
    • a MINIMUM of 6 sessions booked for less severe injuries/illness and to the MAXIMUM of 10 sessions for more severe longer term injures. (Don't worry, you can always add more if the need arises.)
      • If you are unsure on how many appointments to book - we usually say this:  How severe is your injury/illness and how long have had your injury/illness?  This can help you determine the number of appointments.
2) How to prepare for the first appointment
  • Please wear comfortable clothes, NO JEANS, or anything with a button/zipper at the waist. Make sure you have a pair of clean socks in your bag.  I do need a pair of socks to do certain movements so the foot will slide on the table, and as the weather warms...so most folks aren't wearing socks.
  • Also, as gentle/subtle and pain-free as these lessons are - they can be quite tiring.  So sleep as much as you can!   Yes, that does mean you are allowed to nap!  Most people, even ones who aren't sleeping well at the time due to pain or illness, find that they need to at least 'lie down to rest - even without sleep....we highly recommend this :)
  • We also ask that you don't participate in other therapies or excessive exercise activities during the weeks of your MOVE Therapies Intensive.
    • Something as simple as an hour swim class - can really tire the body/brain out and instead of LEARNING in your lesson - you end up just going through the motions - and that just isn't money well spent. Also, there can be some contradictions between our work and other lessons...so it can be confusing for the brain!   Lastly, if you do receive pain relief or gain mobility - you won't know whether it was our therapy or a combination of everything you did and you don't want to HAVE to do everything for the rest of your life! ;)
  • We also recommend good nutrition as much as possible throughout the lessons....feed that body and brain! :)
3) Payment
  • Each session is $100 CAN for a 45 min session (Taxes are included).  So if you booked 6 lessons - your total is $600.  10 lessons = $1000.  Payments at this time are paid by either cash, cheque, or E transfer OR as of Oct 2020 - VISA or MASTERCARD - at the first lesson.  All cheques made out to CLD MOVE Therapies.
  • Alternatively, Payment can also be done 1/2 at the first session and the second half at the 4th lesson for the remainder.
  • Etransfer to leanne@movetherapies.com No need for a password - it will automatically deposit.
  • Cheque or Visa payments can be made in person.

4) COVID INFORMATION ( based on guidelines from the province of BC)
  • We will be taking ALL precautions to make sure our clinic and our approach are as safe as possible for everyone.
  • Masks/Shields MUST be worn by both the Practitioner AND the client.
  • There will be hospital-grade hand sanitizer available.
  • We will be giving strict 45-minute lessons - so there will be ample time for the client to exit the clinic, the therapy space, props and table to be thoroughly disinfected, and for the next client to enter.  Keeping Social Distancing at a minimum.
  • At this time - bathroom use is off-limits - except in urgent situations.
  • We will be asking all clients to arrive just a few minutes before their set appt. and wait outside or in their car - so the maximum amount of people in our space at the same time will be 4.  A Practitioner will come outside and get you.
  • Social Distancing will be strictly enforced.
  • Please refrain from touching door handles, walls etc. to the best of your ability.
